A Little More About Me...

I began in Real estate in 1998 at Century 21 Hallmark West in Waterford Michigan, after a few years of "getting my feet wet" I learned enough to venture to ReMax Encore and try a different approach. From Remax I went to Chamberlain Properties and learned a few more "tricks of the trade". After that I went to smaller companies (five in all) and learned that it's not just an experienced salesperson people want to use to sell their houses, it's a person that builds relationships, talks easily with others, knows the business and is diplomatic enough to negotiate the right price while maintaining the integrity of an honest agent.

I represent Real Estate in Michigan as a sales agent, marketing agent and consultant. I belong to the Greater Metropolitan Association of Realtors and I use RealComp MLS service to list and market homes. Every home I market has it's own website for easy digital viewing on mobile devices. I also use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google, Zillow, Trulia, Realtor.com and many other sites to bring attention to homes I list. It's my job to sell homes and I do my job well!

I'm a trustworthy, hard-working, honest Real Estate agent and I make a living selling houses and finding homes for clients that need to sell and/or purchase a home. I'm a family man and enjoy spending time with family and friends. Below is a family picture taken in 2012 at the New Wilmington Mission Conference in Pennsylvania that our family attends annually.

I've been selling Real Estate for twenty years and have made many memorable relationships with my clients and their families. I've sold and re-sold the same homes for clients when they needed a larger home because of a growing family. I've re-sold homes for clients that have down-sized because their children are living elsewhere. I've sold condo's, vacant properties, "up north getaways" and leased properties. Real Estate is what I do and what I love, call me anytime and see what I can do for you!

Here's what my Real Estate Brokerage Carrington Real Estate has posted on it's website about me...

Tim Stinson is a Premier Agent in North Oakland County Michigan,

and Tim is Carrington Real Estate'sTop Producer in Michigan for 2017. His testimonials for his Real Estate work are continuously complimenting and his hard work shows his passion for success. Tim’s success is based on his experience, relationships with clients, integrity and ethics. He’s had many accolades in his life and says that “God willing” he’ll have many more. He and his wife Julie, a special education teacher, and their four children live in the “heart of the lakes area” of southeastern Michigan. They raised their four children in Waterford, home of thirty-four lakes, two class-A high schools and many recreational parks. Fishing is big on his list of hobbies, as well as watching college sports, attending Detroit Tigers games and writing a couple different novels at the same time. Tim serves as an Elder and Julie a Deacon at Community Presbyterian Church in Waterford where they’ve been active since 1982. Their daughters graduated from Alma College and Central Michigan University, one is a nurse and one an elementary teacher. Their oldest son is a fireman in upper state New York and their youngest son a senior at Grand Valley State University. Tim specializes in Real Estate in North Oakland county because of the many communities that is its make-up. From water based communities such as Waterford and Lake Orion to rural communities in Brandon Twp. and Oxford. The small town feel of the Village of Clarkston and Holly to the growing communities of White Lake and Highland. He and his family enjoy the original menus in local restaurants like The Woodshop (Clarkston), Lion’s Den (Waterford) and their Italian favorite Gino’s (Keego Harbor). He believes in the state motto “Pure Michigan” and recommends living in the state to everyone. Tim says four-out-of-five Great Lakes prefer Michigan and so does he. He and his family enjoy the thousands of miles of coastline it offers when they vacation.

Real Estate has been a part of his family for twenty years and he hopes for twenty more. The families he’s had the pleasure to help and the relationships he’s built with those families is a testament in-itself to Tim’s success. He stays up-to-date on real estate trends, social media and offers buying and selling tips on his website. Tim says: “It’s not about the property, it’s about finding the right property to call home.”
